The U.S. Polo Association was established in 1890 and is the National Governing Body for the sport of polo. The Association was organized and exists for the purposes of promoting the game of polo, coordinating the activities of its Member Clubs and Registered Players, arranging and supervising polo tournaments, competitions, and games, and providing rules, handicaps, and conditions for those tournaments, competitions, and games including the safety and welfare of participants and mounts.

Benefits of Registered and Affiliate Player Members:

As Winston Churchill said, “A Polo Handicap is a passport to the World”.

The Excess Legal Participant Liability coverage: Each registered player receives excess liability insurance coverage that serves as added protection for third party claims. Provided by Lloyds of London through Equisure, this coverage applies from the time your dues are processed by the United States Polo Association until December 31st of each year.

Outdoor and arena rules videos are available upon request at no charge through the Polo Training Foundation.

USPA Polo Plus Member Savings Program: The Polo Plus program offers USPA members the opportunity to enjoy cost savings on “common household” brand name products and services for their polo needs and for their individual business needs.
